Boner is probably sitting in his tanning bed praying they don’t overturn Obamacare. You see, if its over turned, the annoying orange of the house has to come up with somthing to replace it (thats why he was telling the republicans to go against their instincts and NOT spike the ball if its replealed). If the court keeps Obamacare, they can continue to convince the ignorant teabaggers (their name for themselves, not mine) that government is comming to take their guns and KILL them with socilism (not what Obamacare is BTW), and hope the people are dumb enough to forget that boner caused the credit downgrade, and hope the people reelect him and his CONservative ilk,

Looks like some people have recognized that BO’s mouthpiece did a poor job of rationalizing the legislation. As usual, it is always someone else’s fault. In this case, the Justices are at fault for not twisting logic enough to suit Obama. oops. they have not even published their decision. wow. Morale is really low at DNC, Pharmaceuticals, and others that were going to make $ on this legislation.

Don’t confuse them, they’re already making tinfoil hats to cover their eyes. It’s so hard to breathe with their head stuck in the sand, you know.

Actually, its the CONservatives who hate America. They want to turn it into a theocracy.

At least you’re finally giving up on the “activist liberal bench” trope that stopped being true in the 1980’s.

Both sides cheer the decisions they agree with, but the left doesn’t claim to have some magical/mystical conduit to the collective consciousness of the framers of the constitution.

Every time you claim that you alone know what the whole bunch of guys meant, remember that while Jefferson advocated small federal powers and states rights, he also advocated for scrapping the constitution and re-writing it every 20 years.

He also said we should never be anything but a plantation agrarian society.

He also said that the safety of democracy was measured in the distance between church and state.

He also exercised Presidential powers not in the constitution to have the federal govt simply buy 2/3 of our country in the biggest real estate deal ever.

And that’s just one of the founding fathers. Somehow you think you can divine a single consistent intent from the lot of them?

You got to love our little pack of Baggers. First, they complain about illegals getting free health care and then they whine about everyone having to pay for their own.

meetinthemiddle: Jefferson may have been a planter, but he opposed the Federalist’s plan of the franchise only to those with an acre of urban land or a section of rural. His goal was a nation of yeoman farmers and artisans.

Per the comic — yup, trash it — just like they did to the electoral system.
