Such a clever little entrepreneur is our Lio! With three in the mud already and two more on hold, it looks like yet another successful money-making scheme of his! The worms probably enjoy it, too!

Mud, mud, glorious mud,

How would the kids that age read the sign`?

There’s big money in dirty business…

And with their clothes on, too.

I think this is probably the most unsanitary thing in the world.

I simply love to wallowWay down in yonder hollowThe mud is great, the worms are grandAnd wallowing can beat the band

But CAREFUL while you’re wallowingTo cut down on your swallowing

Only a quarter? Dirty deeds done dirt cheap!

At least they’re having fun!

If this were an early strip, I’d expect the mud to come alive and eat them, which Lio expected all along.

LOL…Always looking for the silver lining.
