There was at some point a group of humans that came to North America before everyone else. All others have come here to encroach on someone else’s land. Rather than trying to “protect” our borders, it would be better to have realistic immigration and guest worker policies. Better to concentrate on keeping out the few really bad people than people who want to make some money doing our dirty work and go back home for the winter.

Wars and Slavery were well established when Europeans arrived.Get a clue. Indian wars were nothing like the prolonged, bloody affairs the Europeans devised. Slavery was not based on skin color and wasn’t forced on an entire people for generations.

I will believe that the Republican Party and Tea Party are interested in illegal immigration when they propose actual harsh and well funded enforcement against the employers of illegal immigrants. Until then it is all just hot air. You want to get rid of illegal immigration get rid of the people who are employing the illegals and empowering their remaining here.

Simple historic fact: Caucasion tribes, and Christians left the “middle east” went on to Europe, and then on to conquer, enslave, and destroy, every civilization they met, in the Americas, Polynesia, Asia, and Africa. Guns and religion were their methodolog, and tools, not necessarily in that order.

“Good Christians” have simply stolen more land, and destroyed more cultures, than any other group in the hstory of the world. And oddly, have the most “un-Christian” attitude toward others, in the United States today. So, before you get bent out of shape, it is the HYPCRITES in the streets and “temples”, NOT “true Christians” doing the damage under the auspices of “politics nation”. It IS xenophobia, the fear of “others” that drives their politics, and hatred.

You get an A for effort but, you are in the wrong century. And wrong disease. And the USA hadn’t been established yet.

“In 1763 at the Siege of Fort Pitt, many historians claim that smallpox-infested blankets were removed from fallen British soldiers. They were then to be distributed to Native Americans who accepted the blankets as their own. An English trader is quoted concerning the two Indian chiefs given “two blankets and a handkerchief out of the small pox hospital. I hope it will have the desired effect.”7 A smallpox outbreak did occur in this area among Indians in the spring."

The aboriginal hierarchy would like you to believe they were here forever. That is obviously not true. However, there is even inconsistencies with the theory of them coming only from Asia across the Bering Strait. Evidence points to several immigrations to North America from several different directions in several different time periods. .The Chief better get used to the idea that the people that rule the land are the people that maximize it’s resources for the highest good to the most people.

Gypsy8Sorry, Dude, but everyone came from somewhere. If you take it to the extreme, EVERYONE (save perhaps those from a very tiny region of what we now call Africa) ARE IMMIGRANTS.No one with any concept of history or anthropology can declare that those groups, generally called “Native Americans”, were not here for centuries before Europeans arrived…And then were actively and violently destroyed by the invading Europeans. As a “Cherokee American”, I can also vigorously defend MY tribe’s contribution to human evolution, as we were the ONLY Native American tribe ( due to Sequoyah’s efforts) to have a literacy rate of 100% (not matched by any nation today).Maybe, Gypsy8, you should read a book.
