Yep, Holder has done nothing wrong, so there’s no need to resign. Fast and Furious was a Bush era program that should have been ended, but Holder had a LOT of problems to fix.
The problem is that it is very difficult to defend Holder’s actions while directing the Department of Justice. Instead of upholding the laws of the United States, he spends his time ignoring crimes committed by minority groups, attacking states that try to enforce laws, and stonewalling inquiries made by Congress. His record during the past three years has shown him to be a disaster.
That the bloggers deny marching to Rush’s tune here is one thing, watching dittoheads in Congress parrot his bile represents serious mental, moral, and ethical defect.
oh come on. it makes no diff who it is. this is the gop that tortured 8 prisoners to death under king george II, and Geneva and (about 50% of them) the world courts never even blinked. from what i understand gw is still a wanted war criminal internationally.
Marty, at least address the issues. People are dead and he denies complicity in the activity that led to a DEA agent being murdered. That should be enough, regardless of political affiliation.
“So liberals are OK with Holder giving guns to Mexican drug cartels” I guess it would have been better if Obama sold the guns to terrorists, then gave the money to the cartels? Its the only reagan policy Obama has yet to use. (well, that and tax increases)
Funny how the righties forget “iran contra” among other “transgressions” of their folks, like previous “sting” operations that failed, and led directly within the agency to this one.
Hanmari: you need to realize that the conversion of “political appointees” to “Civil Service”, means, among other things, a lot of the morons the Bush’s appointed, are still PLANNING these “operations”, and much, much more.(In many agencies, that the public has NO IDEA what they do! For us, or TO us!! And consistently, the “conservatives” are the ones giving corporations the gold, and the taxpayer, the shaft!)
