A clear difference in ages. Phoebe is about nine and Marigold is a couple of hundred. (I’m guessing, because she’s magical.)

You’ve got a recurring message over at Calvin and Hobbes telling people to come look at this strip. Everybody agrees: Stop it or we’re going to flag you as a nuisance. You’re probably a nice person, but advertising for one strip on another strip page is disrespectful.
