Instead of character building seems Calvin is about to get a dose of character demolishing.

@Dogsniff: Heh, Heh, Heh, Heh, (etc.)Usually, “Heh, Heh” means that someone wrote something that I thought was funny. But this morning, my “Heh, Heh” was for Snoopster’s entertainment, meaning, “Heh, Heh, you were the first poster for the past four days, but today I beat you to it.” Sort of like the way Calvin surprised his Dad after lying in wait for him. (There – see how all of my comments always closely relate to the day’s strip?)

I think that Dad is very willing to miss his bus…

@Popeyesforearm: When I see a strip that I like, I save some keywords and the date on my computer, so that I can search them later. I started this years ago, because I would sometimes remember a strip but be unable to locate it.

I would never have done this to either of my parents. They both had matchstick tempers and were entirely willing to get into it with either my sister or myself. Raising a parent is an incredibly underappreciated job for a child….

@CrazyIrishOperaGirl,Let’s hope that Dad’s bark is worse than his bite! After all, Calvin is just ‘a little squirt’. We don’t want Calvin to get hurt badly, so let us’pray’! ‘Water’ you think?

In response to comments from two days ago near the end of the day, online definitive information about distribution of condoms in public schools is not as readily available as I would like, but I read one item from 1995 referring to a telephone survey which indicated that 431 public schools in 50 US school districts were distributing condoms at that time.There were many other articles on the issue. One article said that in Springfield, MA, condoms will be distributed to students as young as 12 years old starting this fall. In Holyoke, MA, if it’s not already happening, it will be the same as in Springfield.Overall, judging from all the various articles and their content, it appears certain that condom distribution in public schools is on the increase.People that were doubting and questioning my comments (and anyone else who is interested), may check the internet for themselves.
