Leaky…. Welcome back! But… “partial?” Are you saying Marg isn’t all there?

And nice to meet you, Toenails …. if I may ask…. were you someone else last week or are you brand new here?

    Good morning All!

Mikie! You blew my cover yesterday…. but it’s OK….. we had already cleaned up the the hazardous lime jiggler spill… and though the “fragrance” is likely to linger into the weekend, it has been determined to be non-lethal.

As for Ma….. we put her safely on a plane for Illinois, in spite of her protests.

Time means nothing to the Pennys.Burl goes to work when he feels like it; they pay the bills late and argue about the fees…But they’ll come two hours early if there’s free candy on the counter. And there usually is, cos everybody puts out breath mints when Burl or Joy has an appointment.X … Are you hiding in the picture?I didn’t know you knew the Pennys.

If I were a provider of any sort, I’d deliberately make the Pennys wait as long as I could, even if the waiting room was empty, just to frustrate them. I’d pretend they didn’t have an appointment or had one at a different time or day. I’d let the receptionist in on the plan and pay him/her extra for their participation. Then I’d take a call during their appointment.

My goal would be to make them cry like Wayne and Wendy Whiner and have a competition to see how long it took to make that happen each time they came in.

    Sound like fun?

Show up early if there is an emergency. There will always be no shows and you can take their appointments. I broke my glasses and my doctor was booked for eye exams for a week. While we were looking for an open slot, we noticed the first appointment was 10 minutes late and nobody in the parking lot. I got his full exam slot and new glasses on order within the hour.

I’ve been to a doctor as early as 45 minutes for reasons I won’t get into. I ended up being seen 20 minutes early, I guess because the doctor was on time with everybody. Sometimes it pays to be early! Maybe the Pennys think they’re at the airport, where they always tell you to be there at least two hours before your flight. lol

I hate going to doctors who make me wait. I used to go ealy in the hope that the guy would move everyone up because of a no-show, but after he arbitrarily had blood tests on a day he gave me a 2PM appt (and I found out after I saw paperwork) I never went back. I have a new doctor selected but have not been to see her. I do blood tests now with a lab that uses a local pharm in a grocery (short drive is great if fasting). They don’t accept medicare but always have a special on the chem panel with cholesterol.
