I think the dogs are just getting ready for the Ballard Street Memorial Day Parade.They figure they’ll easily sweep the Canine Bicycle Division, their bike being the only entrant.(Shhh….They don’t know about Miss Millie’s unicycle lessons.)

The event is already attracting biker groupies.

Crank and chain are on the wrong side of the bike.

The last time I was at a parade I saw three Shriners

on a bike doing the same thing..

Rusty Boy, Miss Millie, and Scooter were once known as the Flying Bravo Brothers. But nagging injuries and the unfortunate crash landing of their sky diving plane hasreduced their once majestic top billing to a playful day trip to the park, out for pepperoni treats and banana pieces for Miss Millie, her favorite. Monday is usually not their day to ride, but a summer’s day with no rain and a cool off shore breeze was just too good to pass up. That’s life on Ballard Street.

Did you talk to Mallett? He usually does the triathlete gags. :-)

Scooter’s been practicing…

…and hopes he can catch LMMHM’s eye! He’s loved her for so very long and has finally conquered his fear of tricycles, cats and mice just for this event. He’s certain he’ll make a big impression. His act, “Four Guys on a Trike”, is so much better that the “Flying Bravo Brothers”, and he was lucky that FlyKittyFly was available for this gig. FlyKittyFly’s two assistants, Camembert et Gruyere, have made a special trip especially for this parade and a chance to jump start their flagging careers.

Poor “Mi Mi” Suzette de la Margaux! Just arrived in town and didn’t know about the new hair coloring process at BSSB salon. She gave Susan Sunshine carte blanche to do her “speciality”, and now, she has “beaucoup” regrets…
