Must be an old car. New ones only put out like 45 degree air. Back in the 60s you had a walk-in freezer compressor under the hood. Of course it took some serious horsepower to run.
@Naturally- No lie! My first car, a Pinto, had a Montgomery Wards add-on air conditioner in it. I could actually see my breath after about five minutes with the AC on! Ah, the fun of watching my gas gauge go down as I drove home from work!
32 mpg, not 32 mph. It frequently got up to sixty mphit wasn’t a 78 model, it was what was left of an earlier model. lots of rust holes from salted streets up nawth
