Ralph: Please empty your pockets and remove your shoes and belts! Guy: Why on earth do we have to go to so much trouble?!! Ralph: It's all about safety, sir! Trained security personnel carefully screen each and every passenger before we let them through to board the plane! If we notice any odd or suspicious behavior, that person will be denied entry, and detained for questioning. Pilot: Gangway! I'm flying! I'm flying! Guy: How come you let him go through? Ralph: He's the pilot!

Yep! Trained security personnel not letting anyone suspicious through the gates is how that guy actually bypassed security and boarded a plane without a ticket this past week. But little old men and women and little toddlers get frisked or made to strip down. Go figure.

So glad that with this birthday I will no longer even have to step on dirty floors without shoes (not that I want to fly anywhere anyway)

Nothing about the TSA procedures actually contributes to safety, either. It’s for show. Heck some of the people doing the screening aren’t even US citizens. They’re waiting on a green card! If you want real airport security, don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Ask the Israelis. All of the countries around them want them dead. If there’s anyone who knows an effective and efficient way to really find the terrorists, it’s them. Our TSA is a joke! So are the no-fly lists, but that’s a rant for another ’toon…
