Before she retired Ginger was leader of the Ballard Street swat team.

It was either the fly or ginger. Don’t ever mess with a lady with hair like that.

Some things are just meant to be swatted…no thinking, no weighing the possible outcomes….just SWAT, now!Sad when they land on favorite lamps, Pre-Colombian artifacts, or very small children. You can tell by looking at Ginger she’s a creature of instinct..a stealthy jungle fighter…a quick, sleek and cat-like force of natu….aw, who are we kidding…..she blew it, that’s all.

x_Tech — ssshhh… that bluing is one of our best secret ingredients…makes everything look snow white…

Glad you only told 200 or so of our closest friends…

Luckily, we have several secret ingredients that make Susan and Marg’s (today) Brain Bleach the BEST BRAIN BLEACH EVER. (Not that I’d stoop to a plug.)But our carefully memorized formula is why Marg and I can never fly on the same plane.

And Monkey! — Never fear. Mi snickerdoodle es su snickerdoodle.

Meanwhile…. StelBel — so glad you’re feeling better.Yes, of course, I’ll slow down my hair right now.I didn’t realise I’d left it set on “sparkle” after the party last weekend.Quick twinkling is pretty at night but too much for every day.As for coloring individual hairs….that’s always how we have to do it…. They light up successively to produce the color-changing effect. The controller and switch are set in a handy, replaceable, single-AAA-battery barrette, which eliminates the old-fashioned need for surgical installation.

Ginger’s response reminds me of the time I threw a stick of butter across the kitchen during an argument. What a mess I had to clean up afterwards.

That was the last time I ever threw anything!

I do a great “door slam”, however.

She was angry because the lamp kept making light of her situation.

One of my favorite moments so far in President Obama’s time in office, happened early on. During an interview, he pulled a Ninja move on a fly that was buzzin’ around, and nailed it! One quick smack down. The camera paned to the floor, and there was the busted fly! That’s good to know he’s that good….I’m sure somebody called the whore house to get a secret service agent to step on it and finish it off,,,but they probably had to read it it’s rights…..

I don’t see a dead fly within the carnage. Ginger’s swing was lethal but her aim was a tad off.

Honestly, my first impression was that her response was to a phone call. The table there, with the lamp (and the phone). Phone rings, she answers, listens to the caller, and reacts. On further inspection, however, I see no sign of a phone. So the issue then is; what was Ginger responding to? The fly (or whatever bug) is a good guess. Roger there, in the easy chair, looks as puzzled as the rest of us.
