Love that Cajun cooking!

As I was taught it in New Orleans, you actually make it mild, then let each diner add pepper sauce to taste. Same with gumbo.

I’m from south Louisiana (Cajun Country) and have lived here all my life. I’ve never eaten jambalaya like that. Don’t get me wrong, we use seasoning but I’ve never gone through what poor Sluggo has. There’s a lot more to Cajun food than hot peppers. I don’t know how that myth ever got started. I get a kick out of places that advertise Cajun French Fries. What the heck is that? We sure never made them down here.

I love it!!!! As an aficionado of hot food, I would like to taste a bowl of Sluggo’s jambalaya!

Campells has a gumbo and sausage gumbo Chunky Soup that’s really spicy. I like moderate or mild spice.

You think that’s bad – wait until it’s another 10 to 15 ft down the digestive system!

It may exit the other end like that. Be ready Sluggo!
