they will say “Seinfeld” was way ahead of it’s time. The show about nothing was just that. I never could understand how anyone could watch more than 10 mins of it.
I get TV through Hulu and Netflix streaming. Working my way through Mission Impossible and all the Star Treks. Sea Patrol was good too bad we can’t get more than one season here in U.S. Have considered Columbo! though I remember all of them from 1st run.
Sunday evenings while I’m drawing a week’s worth of “Shoe” comic strips, I start out on MeTV with back-to-back “MASH”, then “Columbo” from 8-9:30. Then, I switch to AntennaTV for three episodes of “WKRP”. After that, I go back to MeTV for “The Twilight Zone” followed by “The Fugitive” at midnight. Hopefully, I’ll be finished with all six strips by 1am.

Amazing that 30 years later folks will watch a show that they wouldn’t glance at when it was a current. production. And rave about it.

We live out in the country and get our TV over the air, with a UHF antenna. Columbo and lots of other great shows every day on MeTV (7-2, Omaha, NE)

I loved Peter Faulk no matter what he was in, including his movies. But I especially liked Columbo.

itisme: It’s called a police procedural. The “mystery” isn’t who did it, it’s how Columbo will catch him (or her).

What is going on in this new Plugger world? I thought Pluggers still used TV’s with tubes in them? New fangled devices who needs them!
