That Rambler Ambulance on the blog looks awfully small. Probably the paramedics couldn’t do much work on you inside one of those.

The fact his other hand is discretely hidden, I bet this cartoon is endorsed by beloved former Surgeon General, Jocelyn Elders.

Teresa, here’s another person you might enjoy reading about:

    http://academic.brooklyn.cuny.edu/history/johnson/Samuel%20Guy%20Inman.htm

Samuel Guy Inman was an American missionary in Mexico (evidently bringing Christianity to the heathen Catholics). He was a leading opponent of efforts to intervene in Mexico, and probably kept us out of a war for Mexican oil. Things have not changed much in the past century . . . (well, okay, these days Secretary fall wouldn’t go to prison. Fox News would hire him.)

After one knee replacement and one more to go (within the next few years), I marvel at the “contortionist”. It’s hard to imagine how that could be humanly possible. I wonder if she will have any joint problems in her later years…..?

@Teresa: With regard to Diet Dr. Pepper, I finally discovered a good use for a dishwasher, which doesn’t clean dishes very well at all.

I don’t drink any pop, but I do like a non-carbonated beverage called Sanbitter, which tastes somewhat like Campari without the alcohol.

I love Dr Pepper but my carbonated caffeine delivery beverage of choice is Diet Dew.

Thanks for the link to the GoComics contest, Teresa. I went and voted… it was so hard because I could only choose one; FA is definitely one that I can’t go without.

#63?! WTH were you thinking? (if you’re going to suck up, take a few tips from The Old Wolf)

P.S. to Tee. If I win you can have my Skype time – maybe you can learn a few things from Jim the Garfield guy about keeping things fresh.

According to the way I read my GoComics page, I save the best for last. That would be Frog Applause, the Fusco Brothers , and Prickly City.

    My Top 3!
