Was I supposed to notice the rest of the comic after that top panel??? Does it come in a poster?

I prefer Fritzi’s hairdo….

Il faut croire que les auteurs des posts précédents n’ont ni enfants ni petits enfants de l’âge de Nancy. Sinon ils admireraient la finesse de l’analyse des comportements enfantins. A travers Nancy, je retrouve beaucoup des attitudes de mes enfants et c’est ce qui fait tout le plaisir que j’ai à retrouver cette BD quotidienne. (NOTE : Je ne suis pas pour autant insensible au charme de Fritzi !)

While Fritzi is quite beautiful I find it extremely unrealistic to lust over a cartoon character.

Nancy is a timeless love. I am 76 and started with Nancy when I was 2 or 3 with my father reading me the “funnies” after supper in a New York Post that was a decent enough newspaper at that time. I taught myself to read shortly afterward so I wouldn’t have to wait until after supper to get my Nancy for the day. She is Everychild, imaginative, optimistic, fortunate to have a loving adult to care for her, and fortunate to have Sluggo and Irma as true friends. Nancy is a ray of hope in what could be a sad world. Reading Nancy reminds me of my parents’ love and encouragement and the early childhood friends who are no longer here. Nancy brightens my day.

If you don’t like Nancy, don’t read it. Nancy is a great strip and so are all of the characters.

I like Nancy for it’s charm too. And I like reading the posts regarding Aunt Fritzi. Knew there would be some “Hubba hubba” coming when I saw the top panel. Too bad that one guy doesn’t appreciate. I like when a post is in another language, get to try and figure what is being said, then if necessary can copy and paste on a translater to check.

Bald is beautiful, man! …and comfortable.

I still contend it’s not funny. I can see the nostalgia angle, though. And I think Nancy should be calling Fritzi “Mom” by now…

Nancy is an excellent strip with or without Fritzi.

If you don’t like it DON’T read it! There have been a couple of comics that I didn’t care for so I cancelled them. No big deal, it’s even painless…try it.

Surely Nancy won’t consider a Sluggo hairstyle. This strip is for those who like cute things and Nancy is indeed a cute strip.

We need to petition to get Fritzi Ritz back on her own solo strip.
