Caulfield: My dad's taking my mom to dinner for Mother's day but they're not taking me! Is that fair? If it weren't for me, they wouldn't be going out tomorrow. Frazz: No, they'd probably be going out four or five times a week. Caulfield: So I brought discipline into their lives and I'm not being rewarded for that, either?

No, Caulfield is an only child and so with no children in the house the Husband and Wife could afford to go out more instead of staying at a home so much.

You’ve got a point, Caulfield. Now, think about your birthday from that perspective. You don’t even remember the day you are celebrating , but your mother… My MIL used to tell us a sweet story about how, on her birthday, her husband would bring her mother flowers. Very thoughtful. ! ♥ !
