Yeah, some cats do like water. A couple of ours, when they were younger, played in water any chance they got. Faucet, shower, bath, puddle, creek, it was all fun and games. As they’ve gotten older, they don’t play in it as much. Well, all except baths which they never did like much.
Looks like you could just teach him to turn on the tap for himself…no wait…he probably wouldn’t turn it off.Saul also preferred to dip a paw in his water dish and suck off the wet, than to actually lap it up out of the bowl. As we live in a place where summer temps are over 40ºC for weeks on end, he enjoyed the occasional bath, too.

My granddaughter’s cat loves water..she has to shut bathroom door unless she wants Monkey in shower w/her. His name fits him well.

My dearly missed Buster used to play in a (dry) tub. He would chase his tail in the tub — didn’t do that anywhere else.
