Were I a praying man, I would pray every night that Palin wins the 2012 Republican nomination.

It would signal the extinction of the conservative right as we know it.

Palin won’t run for Office, she can make more money and trouble in the private sector. Also the need to stick to reality is much more lax.

Hey, Susan why Nova Scotia? What did we do to deserve her?????? How about to Russia; after all she should still be able to see her house from there :)

mfboyd is correct. But there’s always that lure of power, and she might figure that there would be plenty of time to make money and to be a talk show host/guest as an ex-president. Unfortunately for us, that usually proves to be the case as well.

it is already been proven that brains and awareness are trumped by appearance and down-home speak…..

if this jerk looked like margaret thatcher, she would not even have been nominated in wasilla

Even if she ran (which I’m still not convinced isn’t the plan), got the nomination, and won the election, I don’t think Palin has the attention span to last four years in office. I can see her getting all mavericky and resigning after a couple of years, going off to some new adventure…

Why not run? It’s not like she would have to actually serve out her term.

fbmce- “That couldn’t happen too soon. Too bad we have to wait ‘til 2012 to extinct the jackass bible thumpers !” I guess you could consider me one of the “bible thumpers!” You may well enjoy your hate while you can. Just remember that all peoples’ souls are eternal. Where you choose to spend eternity is up to you. I have a feeling that it will be pretty warm where you wind up! But the good news is, it is not too late for you, or anyone else. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” II Peter 3:9

Oprah’s off the air in 2011, so there won’t be anything to run for.

I can easily see 10s of thousands of people paying extra money to have Mrs Palin tell them where to go. This would be a good money making scheme. But the GOP got there first. Bernie probably has to pay royalties for that one.

I find it funny… folks like potrzebie and ravenswing expect folks to be all condoning and tolerant of what they like, but pursue the extinction of religion. It’s that type of hypocricy that will keep the left from ever being taken seriously.

Also, don’t lump all the talking heads in with us normal conservatives. They do NOT represent us. I can’t think of ANY national or nationally known politician who actually DOES represent their people though…

But keep up the partisan politics! That’ll get things going…
