A very inspirational, enthusiastic amputee would be —in my opinion–Cameron Clapp. A skateboarder who lost both his legs and an arm in a train wreck.

We actually have a three-legged cat. She had a malformed back leg at the time she was born and it had to be amputated before she was 8 weeks old. Ariel races around really well, despite everything, although she did have a few crashes while she learned to corner with just one hind leg.

We had a small dog, a mix, who was hit by a car- lost the use of front left and righ rear legs. She soon learned to get around at a pretty good speed, just needed a litlle help on the stairs – sometimes.

Years ago our poodle had a litter of pups and one of them was born with three legs. My FIL named him Yard Dog, cause he had three feet.
