Bob feels he has successfully hidden the external tank for his Dodge Dart space shuttle from Roger Anders. Bob knows that he has a better reusable Orbiter Vehicle (OV) than the Reliant Robin space shuttle those guys over at Top Gear are working on. Bob just doesn’t want Roger lighting any matches around his pride and joy.

When it comes to flinging things Bob refuses to play second fiddle to Will Hurlshit and his puissant trebuchet Onager.

Oh. Silly me.It looks like a cake, so I…. sniffle…. thought maybe it was what he made for my birthday yesterday…. I didn’t get a chance to stop by Ballard St.

He left me a message saying he had a “birthday surprise” for me… but I guess that isn’t it.No, wait… I think he said something about a suit.

You’re not supposed to lay the turf on TOP of the tortoise.

When you refer to “His Eminence”, how does Bob know if you’re talking about him or his lump o grass?SusanS, here’s a “birthday surprise” for you then. Well down at the bottom of this post in a link. Yes suit enters into it. I made this long ago for a place where posting such pictures of oneself was oft mentioned but never actually done. It’s a picture of me working in the garden in said suit.Warning – Not safe for anyone with expectations. And note the picture is entitled “full frontal gardening”http://lafinlarry.net/images/full-frontal-gardening-ebf.jpgPrepare to campaign for me if this post demonstrates that the people who run this place have no sense of humor

Bob’s got a grassy butte.Question is, why did he build it on the edge of a precipice?See behind him; nothing but blue sky…Who in their right mind has a cliff-side backyard?

Oh, Bob, you silly man. Of course Susan loves the completely organnic birthday cake with you on top instead of all those candles.

Bob is soon to learn that it is not only unwise to challenge the architectural commitee of the Ballard Street HOA, his violation of the NO exceptions to statute 7.1.3 under “Historic Cultural Burial Mounds” which clearly states that said monuments be left in their natural state undisturbed…. has caused the reawakening of the much fabled (but heretofore unconfirmed existence) of the Ballardonic Gigantica Bunnibus… Local native lore predicts that a “chosen one” will deface the hallowed ground and shall suffer the wrath of the awoken ancient one…. Watch out Bob….. your pompous piety will result in your long sought after achievement of recognition and legendary fame….

(I hope the collateral damage will be minimal to Ms Bev’s Petunia patch next door…)^^

Oh Essex…. how nice that you remember…I mean, it was back in the 70’s… we… um…we had so much fun…Wait! …..you mean that was you?Mona is right…. a nice grassy hill with flowers is ever so much nicer than a grocery store cake…. so thanks, Bob.And wow, thanks Larry, too… I think…I mean….that’s so special.I do remember your halfway-there pose in March, in your cowboy gear… I think, in fact, it’s on your profile…..And thanks Hallford … I know your actual name must be somewhere in your new “handle…”And as ever, thanks Beviek…. this time for the reminder of what might be best forgotten! LOL!!

Great memory. I have an animated crocodile critter that sings part of that song. Good to see the whole performance.
