    Mittens cancelled the car elevator because it made him look out of touch, but the fact that his house has its own zip code does not. Also starting a new business is not easy if you end up living under a bridge.

    there you have it . the problems of job creation is solved. tax breaks for corporations!why didn’t we think of that before?

    this is why this years presidential election will be close, even though it shouldn’t.there are actual people out there (there really are, and a lot of them) that would vote to keep giving tax breaks to the wealthy and pay for it by taking away life saving services (oh, I’m sorry – I mean entitlements!) from the poor…and these misguided persons are cutting their own throats and they don’t even know it

    No, United Arab Emirates and Japan both have higher corporate tax rates than the US. But in any case the rate is not the whole story. No one, individual or corporation, pays tax at their “tax rate.” You don’t, I don’t. The AVERAGE corporate tax rate, due to – well, let;s just say loopholes – is about 12.1% (on profits, not income). And many LARGE corporations pay NO taxes, or have turned taxation into an income-producing activity, such as GE, Verizon, Boeing, just for examples.
