Beware of hucksters, and anyone who claims they can see your future but continues to make stupid mistakes in their own life.

Beware of those who say they hold the key to fortune and happiness, but who choose to gain a smaller amount by selling you the secret instead of using it themselves.

I remember when I lost respect for asstrologers (mostly) when the friend of a friend…a pro! kept telling me…and him… I couldn’t do something, instead of WHETHER or HOW I could……In short he couldn’t even really understand what I was ASKING…

Geeez, that was a long time ago. Somehow I’ve gotten along reading the newspaper. Aries: don’t be so headstrong today, the bully gneezils are retrograde…

The odd thing is that, even though the last time we saw Astral Bob (March 26) he was gray as today’s cartoon says, that strip was the continuation of a series of strips going from March 12 to March 17 (the week in between were re-runs). And in those strips Astral Bob is dark yellow, not gray!

We take this strip a lot more seriously than Darby does, which I think is strange.

Strod, Suzanne, Shotsy… et al.. Re-runs have the current date inside the panels, but, as you know, the orginal copyright year in the white space between them. Those mid-March strips (thanks Strod!) did say 2012.Possibly between the 17th and 26th Darby either realised he didn’t tell the colorist Bob was grey, or plotted out today’s joke, and thought no one would notice the switch. I haven’t read commments from Darby Conley, but Greg Evans, of Luann, says his readers take such details FAR more seriously than he does.He doesn’t always remember the family relationships of minor characters, and has no constant timeline. Some characters age a bit while others don’t.So he gets a lot of requests for clarification…. which he finds flattering….and funny.
