I feel for the kid. I am very intelligent (went to a private school on a full academic scholarship) and when I came back into public school I was bored out of my mind. Didn’t get into trouble, but also didn’t do my homework, poor grades, etc.Middle daughter had the same problem so we took a leap of faith, made her take the GED test, and then allowed he to drop out of school so she could go to the local Community College, where she made the Dean’s List
