It’s really ridiculous the way some people use character assassination against those who wage peace instead of war. If Carter had launched an unjust war that cost a trillion dollars would he be a hero and a great president?
JImmy Carter — the man who used the presidency of the U.S. to move on to bigger and more important things. Unfortunately, as long as the U.S. continues to support anything & everything Israel ever does, Carter will not be able to make much progress in the Middle East.

The one thing you could say about Carter is that he was NOT of the “religious right.” He was definitely more left than right.
Unlike somebody out there (coughsantorumcough), Carter actually believed in making the world a better place.
