It always surprises me that Luann and TJ never dated. Didn’t they go to prom together once? Or did he go with Bernice? Either way I remember them always being totally innocent – neither of them being at all attracted to each other, but being comfortable with each other. There was even that rumor about the two of them being hot and heavy to make Tiffany jealous. And they just laughed about it, neither of them thinking hmmm…. maybe… just maybe…

Sheesh – this is why ‘bots aren’t in charge of plotting. .I’m surprised you never considered these two solutions – either Nancy dyes her hair dark, or Frank isn’t Luann’s father. The simplest solution is, of course, that Nancy and Frank both have a two-gene phentotype of dominant brown hair and recessive blond alleles, which means they can produce a blonde child who has no brown alleles.

The thing about TJ’s schemes is they don’’t ALWAYS come a cropper. Every once in a blue moon, he not only pulls it off, but hits it outta the park. Remember that ad-hoc remodeling job he did on his and Brad’s house? We were all thinking, ‘disaster’, but instead it turned out great.

Maybe Toni’s not going to think about marriage until Brad gets stones enough to talk to his mom and says Yo, Nancy, why you got to be such a bee yotch to ma shortie?

The PLAN of the immortal and intelligent TJ worked FINE. It got dumstiff off the hook for forgetting Valentines’ Day…it got him to declare his intentions to Toni in a way that showed he cared and DIDN’T offend her nor blow the relationship…and got her to understand that yes, he really has a plan for the future…and told us that TJ is twice the man of everybody else in the strip.Without TJ that whole coterie is LOST.And he actually CAN work behind the scenes and give others the credit. Very close to a real man, that TJ.

Why does everybody in the Luann World know that TJ’s schemes are worthless except for Brad?

Why people forget that TJ is very persuasive. Even Toni fell for one of TJ’s schemes.

Everyone has probably met a TJ in their life. The defining factor is whether you wise up to their hare-brained schemes, or keep on following their idiotic advice. Brad is at a crossroads— Toni is far from perfect, but I’d rather see Brad living with her instead of Mr. Know-it-all.

Posters on this site are often more interesting than the cartoon. They seem to break down into two main categories: the respectful and the dis-respectful. Sub categories would include analytical and critical, and then comes the philosophical and imaginative. Trolls must be ignored and avoided. It’s really The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. I was once kicked off of an author’s facebook and blog, even though I had been a loyal reader from her first book. To this day, I don’t know why. She wouldn’t last 5 minutes on this crazy blog.

It looks to me as if Evans – having no idea how to move the plot forward into the year 2012 – has decided to reverse the development of Brad to 2008’s version. Same shirt, same pug nose, same slovenly look.
