Would like to see “super PACs” gone, but if it is the game, let’s hope Obama plays it best, BUT, would rather see the funds better used. LIke: what sense is their for a “fiscal conservative” to rent a 60,000 seat stadium to hold an event for a couple hundred people? And do NOT try to tell me it was for “security” to use a huge space instead of a smaller meeting room for the rally. Anyone who’s ever done security, or “long rifle” work, can affirm that’s a very stupid LIE!
While Mitt and Newt were throwing big bucks negative ads at each other, and remaining aloof form the people.Rick Santorum, ( who had a practically empty war-chest at that point ) was out in the streets, shaking hands and talking ‘kitchen table issues’ with the voters.
And they responded.
Of course, Santorum isn’t doing that any more, now he’s preaching fire n’ brimstone from the Mount…which I consider to be the most spectacular squandering of political capital since Watergate.

What’s needed is a 50% tax rate on all PACs and SUPERPACs. But maybe the rate for SUPERPACs should be 75%.

Consider if you will, the Santorum surge.
