Yep, it’s true. And, as a kid, when I sent my thank you notes to the family in the north, I would usually mention that we went to the beach between Christmas Day and New Years Day.

No sledding, skiing, snowball fights, or snow tubing either. On the other hand, they do get hurricanes!

Unfortunately, this winter has been so mild (Mississippi Valley) that a number of the bugs will winter through.Remember when Calvin would go out on a cold day “The bugs are dying by the truckloads!”

In Florida you can ride the waves almost every day. Up here, you can sled ride or ski in winter.

Thankfully a strip that shows Rollo as a good friend and a boy and has nothing to do with his money. I appreciate that.
