Now, just a minute here, Irwin and Broomie! I always eat the parsley, because I like parsley! So there!

Maybe Broomie needs glasses. that would explain trying to eat with her forehead.

Oh, yeah, Nerwin? NOBODY eats parsley? I learned to eat parsley 60 years ago when it was part of the Passover Seder ritual every year. Maybe you have to be Jewish to like parsley, but I got to like it. I eat it. I flavor up my salads with it, and eat it as part of the salad. I add it to my homemade spaghetti sauce.

Never say “nobody.” Maybe you can say “nobody I know,” but never say “nobody.” There’s always at least one “somebody” who does what you’d never think of.

Tribal names are used in AZ. There are four Pai tribes, Paiute, Yavapai, Hualapai, and Havasupai.

My dad loved it. He even planted some parsley outside the side door so he could just walk outside and pick some whenever he wanted. He claimed it made his breath smell good…

Gweedo, I’m with you on this one. PC crap it is, and PC crap it will stay. The idea of changing one’s word usage because a very small minority of people think they are offended by its usage is ludicrous.

When Columbus arrived in the New World, he declared the locals “En Indio” or “With God” as they were a natural people living as God intended. This got adulterated by English speakers to “Indian”. The natives of India at that time were not called Indians, they were called Hindi. The myth that Columbus mistook Indians for Hindi is just that, a myth. Columbus may have miscalculated the circumference of the Earth (or been deliberately misleading to get funding for a voyage of exploration) but he DID know he was not in India. To Indians, (American) the term “Indian” is appropriate and not insulting. This is as told to be by Quecusce, a Flathead Indian out of Montana, and White Bear, a White Mountain Apache out of Arizona, and decorated war veteran of three terms in Viet Nam. I take their sayso over “political correctness” any day. (Besides, I promised White Bear I’d spread the word)
