Oh puhleeeeeeze. If liberals would only be true to their ideals (as defined by someone else!) then they would be living in near darkness, heatless homes eating only red beans and tofu. Of course, they would be poor.
No, we have seen less than two dozen people influence the Republican primary process beyond recognition. Now you don’t need to convince a lot of people, you only need to convince one. Obama, Democrats and liberals shouldn’t unilaterally disarm themselves. They should work to change the law, but in order to get the power they have to use it.
Neither one…try ‘bot. Tigger once posted the same message to something like four different threads, not noticing once that he’d misspelled, ‘Brian Williams’ as, ’BRAIN Williams."
Tig also has a tendency to vanish whenever someone challenges him on his ‘facts’. Calling him a coward will sometimes bring him back, tho’.
Five years from now after we have all prospered from the steady and sensible repair of our nation (after 8 years of President Obama’s leadership), I look forward to reading the contrived criticism from all the negative nabobs.
Oh, and regarding the comic—-yes, legal tender is a difficult “habit” to break. Even more so than legal tobacco. Like so many sensible folks on this thread have noted…it would be foolish for any statesman to not use each and every (legal) tool available to further their cause/agenda/belief/passion!
how can this be? I’m so disillusioned. Really get rid of them all. A new crop will be better than what is there now. Put in term limits, no more than eight years total. Then go home.No golden parachute, Live like those whom they should serve
Republican appointees in 2010 forgot that what they come up with can also be used by the opposition. Now that the opposition is using the tool they foisted off on the citizens of the USA, they’re unhappy. Just like the selfish kid that takes his baseball or bat and goes home because he doesn’t want to share.
Sorry, Harley—-I happen to believe that “all things being equal”, President Obama has done a job that earns him round two…
Granted, most D.C. stats can be manipulated, cooked, marinated or otherwise, yet overall our locomotive of a nation is perceptively gaining momentum on a positive track. I’ll admit I’m not happy with each and every decision our C.I.C. has made…but he can count on me to count on him for another four.
^That last 1/2 sentence sounds neat when spoken out loud—-(IMO)
