Want to get the money out of politics? Take away politicians ability to control the money. Big corporations love Big government. Return the Federal Government to its Constitutional limits and most of this problem would go away.
In Germany election campaigns are funded by the state. Each party gets money appropriate to the number of their members. It is a lot of money for nothing but when I see this I realize it could be much worse.
