Wow! It’s a good think I screen these comments before showing them to my son. The “hidden” punchline is that Nancy probably lost the remote much like my son does on a regular basis.
When I got a new TV last year, the first thing I did was buy a second remote. While they are still in production, they are relatively cheap. Or, you can wait until the remote is lost and buy a universal remote. Hint: “Universal” remotes aint’t!

One time we permanently lost our TV remote (luckily, it wasn’t our main TV). I had to buy a replacement remote from PartStore.

I hope Fritzi is still looking for in next week, and the week after that. Meanwhile, I’ll keep hiding it.

What did people do 40 or 50 years ago when there were no remotes?
