    FYI:

From: Mike Curtis To: DickTracy <DickTracy@yahoogroups.com>Sent: Mon, Jul 28, 2014 4:37 pmSubject: [DickTracy] Jay Maeder is passing

    Hi everyone

Joe and I just heard that Jay Maeder is passing, likely in the next few days. We will post an obit when we have one. For those that did not know his work, he wrote the authorized biography of Tracy and was the last scripter on LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE.

    Mike

Great Caesar’s Ghost! Perry White looks like he’s really fallen on hard times since The Daily Planet folded. Or, it could be Perry playing an evil twin, just for the money.

I just sent this message to GoComics:

In honor of the late Jay Maeder, I think it would be a fitting tribute to him to post all of the Annie strips written during his time as the writer of the Annie comic. Currently the Annie archives start in 2001, although Maeder’s work on the strip began in 2000. Would you please consider updating the Annie archives to include all the Annie strips written by Maeder since 2000? Thank you for your consideration.Rest in peace, Jay Maeder.
