Hmmm, just watching Andrew Sullivan, hardly a “lib” telling what Obama is getting right, and what he’s getting blamed by both sides for, with blind “pc” ignorance, from BOTH sides of the political spectrum. Plainly stated, I, like Andrew, don’t agree with all Obama’s actions, but he’s certainly done a much better job than any of his “opponents” from EITHER party could accomplish. It mostly has to do with the fact he actually has that politically unacceptable tool at his disposal, and he uses it, a brain.
We thought Clinton was a big liar, but Obama has surpassed him. After being caught in so many lies it is amazing that so many people actually believe him.
In the first place, Clinton, Albright, and Tennet (Democrats, remember) all said there were weapons of mass destruction. If Bush lied, so did they. Regardless, I was opposed to the Iraq war.
More importantly, what does that have to do with Obama’s inability to tell the truth? Obama has blamed Bush for the recession every chance he gets. Is Bush to be blamed for his lies, too?
Two mindless posts in a row. You should call the Guinness Book of World Records to see what the record is.
Whether Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with Obama’s constant lies now.
I realize that you may not have understood the disconnect when you made the first post, but I thought that even you would see the difference when it was pointed out. My bad.
I am reading a graph dated 29 Jul 2011 (www.NYTimes.com) that shows how much debt was created in each administration: WWII $1B, Bush 1 $1.9B, Clinton $1.4B, Bush 2 $6.1B, Obama 2009-2001 $2.4B. Two recommendations: 1) correct your numbers. 2) read Krugman on debt and you will learn that austerity, not debt, is what is steering our economy into the ditch. I know, it’s harder to make a cartoon of this but be clever with it.
I can blame the guy with the broom for the mess that’s made when he’s busy doing the very same things that made the mess in the first place. Gary – thank you; tis about time someone said it again. The Major Media doesn’t have the guts to.
I can also blame the guy with the broom when he has no idea what a broom is, where it’s located, what it’s for, or how to clean anything up. Barack Hoover Obozo is in way over his head.
And of course never forget that the federal govt is taking in more money than at any time in its history. The problem is not income, it’s spending, which is also at an unprecedented level…

It’s not easy cleaning up after Republican administrations but, somebody’s gotta do it.

When doing the math don’t forget, regardless of the election the Obama debt lasts through October 2013. (fiscal year)
