Actually, maybe a few strands of tethering isn’t such a bad idea, Agnes…

I like the fact that you believe in your dreams, I really do….

but sometimes your flights of fancy get just a little out of hand…. and when Trout isn’t around…..

Glad to see Ag got dressed.

Trout is sometimes the blackbird of reality for Agnes. Don’t think you’ll find any sharks in that water.

I grew up surfing but now live where the nearest beach is 700 miles away. My first winter I tried “surfing” on a sled in the snow. It’s as close as you can get to the real thing and lots of fun.

I just wish once that Trout could go with the flow…the kids might amount to something, like the Wright brothers? you know they played at flying before they ever thought they’d give it a go…it’s OK: most Americans seem to think that sneering equals a sense of humor instead of mere aggression, and that quashing ideas is a duty. You know, like North Korea?

That’s the direction your media entertainment…and other cultural habits… have you headed for. Bon voyage, baby. Yeah, tether that leg, goose. Open wide.
