but really, we should care because what comes around goes around. if you behave in a civilized manner personally, shouldn’t your country behave in a civilized manner as well?
Noriega was taken down because he stiffed North and Meese on drug deals. He served time, was moved to France, and is now being shipped back to Panama to face prison. We only had to kill something like 600 Panamanian civilians, and lose some of our own people, to “arrest” him in THAT fiasco!
A lot of folks in Panama were also ticked because even though they did NOT LIKE Noriega, we took over the government, shafted them, and put “our” folks in charge. Gee, like THAT never happens! Can we say Maliki or Karzai?
