Do not startle the tree! Oops…

Another Christmas ritual remembered: the straightening of the tree.

Needs to be trimed more on the right side.

With at least two guy-wires helping to stabilize it, the Christmas tree ought to be able to withstand a sudden move or two, as long as they do not make contact…. Someone needs her beauty sleep, someone else is terribly above it all and bored.

My father had two eye-hooks on the wall and tied ropes to the tree.

No tree every escaped.

The tree looks a lot worse than when he bought it.

It’s a disaster waiting to happen.

Nothing a few well-placed ornaments can’t fix. Big ones on the weak side….

@Doctor, I can see it now — a christmas tree with flying buttrresses!

With our biggest trees, my dad used eye hooks and sire for stabilization, too. We never lost one.

er, that should be Wire. Just washed my hands, and I can’t do a thing with ’em . . .

By “bi” you meant “big,” right?…Alice’s “every year” makes me wonder how many Christmases she can remember at her age.

the worst part of x-mas – cleaning up all the pine needles after the tree is gone.

That’s a relief — I wondered (but didn’t want to know) just what a “bi-curious cat” meant! ;o)
