Not the first dog that used that tree, the reason he found it necessary. Rasp, do you really think that’s the first time for that tree? It’s outside, you know.

Some many trees, and Farley had to pick that one! I guess it’s just his way of saying he approves of their choice.

This happened on a talk show featuring dogs with things to do with a dog and next thing the host and guest knew the dog did it’s business on the set. Very funny. Dog’s gotta go.

When I was a kid I bought a book about tartans from the Wee Scots house in Rockefeller Center and read how tartans were banned by the English for 40 years in the 18th century and it was so hard to remember the designs after that.

Where in the Bronx is Louis & Ernie’s Pizza. Too bad you didn’t try the cannolis at White Plains Rd. and 219th St. when that area was Italian 40 years ago.

@Rasczak. Thank you. It may be hard nowadays to find real canoli (not whip cream). I can’t eat sausage as I’m a kosher vegetarian, but for some reason my Y- chromosome DNA is linked up to the Ross clan – one of my close DNA matches is the head of the Ross clan, also from Michigan – I can’t figure this out.

Re ethnic events, I used to go to lawn bowling in Oak Park, IL with my grandpa (many guys in kilts). I was a very wee lassie back then, so got lots of kidding from grown ups .
