You do know that any picture of the Milky Way Galaxy is an “artist’s conception,” right? Since we don’t yet have the technology to get outside our own galaxy to take a photo! Other galaxies, of course (Andromeda, Sombrero, Whirlpool, et al) can be actual images, since we’re outside of them and have some pretty good telescopes. Our own stellar neighborhood, though, nope!

Baslim, that t-shirt sounds hilarious! I’m gonna go look for it and wear it to my next Amateur Astromomers Assn. function!
