How about a baked sweet potato, with just butter or margarine. VERY GOOD! Butter the outside, place in foil and bake until tender. Then slice it open and add some more butter or margarine. That is good eating, even tastier than a baked white potato!

my mother makes a sweet potato casserole. bake the sweet potatoes, remove the skin, mash with butter, orange juice and brown sugar, spread in a casserole dish, top with crumbled oatmeal cookies (crunchy ones, not chewy) and bake. it’s AWESOME.

I’m not having either tomorrow (though I have parboiled yams in the freezer). I will have a 4# sweet pumpkin roasted in the shell per a TV show from Food Network (Alton Brown) with my own variations and my turkey breast is one of the loveliest moist ones I’ve ever done; I’ll just add some steamed fresh green beans with butter -YUM!!
