They have yet to actually say they were wrong for prosecuting a man of science. Sounds familiar.

The FDA seized and burned the books and personal library of Wilhelm Reich. We have all seen films of the Nazi book burnings, and they used as an example of how evil the Nazis were (and no argument, they were evil). But, the burning of Reich’s books was done in 1956, 11 years after WWII and the defeat of the evil Nazis.

On some points of science, we don’t have the luxury of waiting 400 years for the powerful to admit that they have been wrong.

I’m guessing “400 years later” was rounded up a bit? Did he do this in 2009, the year this comic was published?
