Look for stuffed Wildcat to be served up with an apple in his mouth on the Thorp dinner table. Lovely open palm in P2, nice finger uniformity – might as well critique the hand drawings since they stuff them in the foreground of just about every strip these days.

It could get ugly in Milford when the Gil Mafia finds out about Wildcat’s insult. Notice how many Gil detractors are never heard from again in this strip?

Though we haven’t seen him in a while panel 3 clearly shows that Steve Luhm is alive and buffing floors in Milford!

It does raise the question—Would Gil lose his hoops and baseball gigs as well? And how’s the soccer team doing?

Since we readers don’t have the Thorp family wishing us Happy Thanksgiving, we have the next best thing in 3 panels. Expoding ear, talk to the hand dark and sinister Gil and shiny floor Steve Luhm reference as Gil gives alpha male advice to Bootin’ Brody.

I’ve read that hands are the most difficult part of the body to draw. Whigham is just trying to show how talented he is.

Very much like the story line. But Gil shouldn’t touch Brody, even on the shoulder. Many Asperger’s people have an extremely difficult time being touched (and we’re not talking Penn State here).

…Brody is looking more like Macaulay Culkin with each passing panel….

I’d like to see Gil revealed as a psycho killer, sneaking around town at night murdering his detractors with a silenced sniper rifle. I don’t think the writers are that creative, though…
