Okay, seriously? NOBODY gets into teaching hating children. Case in point: my wonderful spanish teacher. When I was in her class, we sang songs, we danced, we got in the intercom and caroled for the whole school in spanish. When I went back ten years later, the kids were calling her a ‘mean’ teacher. They weren’t singing, they weren’t dancing, and she had to call them to quiet more than once just to get through announcements. She wasn’t mean, she was worn out and exasperated. Please, for love of mercy and fairness, do not spread the misconceptioin ANY teacher starts out mean. You don’t get into the teaching field unless you love learning, teaching, and kids.

Nobody goes into teaching hating children? Yeah, but as a sub for 10 years I think they do that for you. (OK not really,(and my mother was a teacher)).
