If Holly does that then she would be the one cleaning the bathroom.

In my day guys couldn’t take home ec. I wish I could have. Luckily, Mom felt that just because I was a boy did not preclude me from learning how to cook, sew, (yes, my own shirts, etc.), iron, etc. Loved her all the more for it, and has stood me in good stead.

My mom did not mind us fixing meals. She is the worst teacher. I could not do anything slow enough for her.For my two kids I made them start laundry early. My daughter told me when she was in Home Ec in HS she was the only one who knew how do laundry. She thanked me.

    Thanks, Mom.

When I was living with my brother, he cooked, I cleaned. My sister (in Europe at the time) was impressed.

I agree. It’s never to early to learn how to clean. Cleaning well will come later with practice.

Nah, then she’ll get stuck as Latrine Queen, and have to eat Alix’s PB&J specials.
