It’s interesting actually how many different “views” are being expressed, and how they’re actually making a list of the complaints, and SOLUTIONS to the problems from different people’s perspective. “Think twice, vote once”, “Paddy Chayefsky got it right”, “Down with Uppity”, “Soylent Green is the MIddle Class”, “I bet my Social Security, and Cantor steals the pot?”, “Unemployed by the honor system, in a system with no honor”, "If you’re now broke, you can “bank” on it!". Just a few potential signs?
You can’t find many Wall Street Occupiers who are actually against capitalism. They’re against crony capitalism, which is a very, very different thing. On the other hand, you CAN find elected Republicans who are against social security, unemployment benefits, and improving the economy, not to mention being against arts funding, contraception, national parks, and the separation of church and state.
everything the nazi’s did was carefully crafted socio-politically to keep them in power by using and incentivizing the populations they had.
they kept VERY careful books, they made a profit on everything they did, and they used the profit motive to keep themselves in power and supplied with food and weapons.
the corporations who made their weapons and small businessmen that fed their troops were incentived monitarily to keep their mouth shuts and look the other way.
what they could outsource to the death camps, er i mean work kamps, was done by slave labor.
if the USA is capitalist, i see frightening parallels.
with wars on two fronts (there’s a parallel for you), just how much news is devoted each night on the media or in the papers to the wars in this country.
don’t you think the economy and the wars (how many, exactly are we fighting right now), or our non-functional government warrants at least say, 1/3rd as much time as ‘dancing with the stars’?

They all have there own reasons for protesting, but the central point that most of them share is the desire to get money out of our politics.

Finance capitalism is destroying the free market. A monopoly is the ultimate form of capitalism, but it has no free market or competition…

the nazi regeime was totally capitalistic, with frills.
they even profited on whoring out the death camp women.
they gave the choice to the local businessmen, sell us your bread for a profit, or join the inmates.
as for their demands being a communist manifesto, i know you haven’t read them.
how is it communist that corporations have the same civil rights and none of the responsibilities of you and me?
