Also, if you’ve ever used a version of Microsoft’s operating system, you can thank Steve Jobs for making them compete, and attempting to make a better product. Imagine how little MS-DOS would have changed without competition forcing it!
His impact over the long haul was to combine form with function, something llittle known in an American company. He changed the way I look at products, even those of his competitors, and by doing so, made them better. Take a look at the clean lines of your current electronics, your small appliances, your best-designed packaging. His sense of design wasn’t perfect but even my latest glucose meter comes in “nano” green!
