At least Jobs actually did things. Edison’s staff worked under sweatshop-like conditions and did all the work while Edison took the credit, filed the patents and kept the profits.

What a fine memorial! Steve was maybe the only CEO who was worth every penny of his pay and bonuses. That, and then some. His creativity and business savvy puts him at the top, far beyond whover might be in second place.

“At least Jobs actually did things.”What is it that he did? Someone name something Steve Jobs himself actually invented. Most of the early computer work was done by Wozniak. Apple’s latest products were thought out by someone else years before Apple brought them to market. Job’s accomplishment is that his style over substance approach to marketing appealed to a shallow “it’s cool, so I’m cool” crowd. While he was a successful business man, he was nota “great man” or an inventor. Runar, Edison oversaw a sweat shop, Apple contracts out to them.
