1929 has one thing in common with 2011 – disparity of income. Disparity of income peaked in 1929, dropped throughout the Great Depression of the30’s, and stayed relatively constant until the 1980’s. It then started to rise, accelerated during the Bush years, and is now incredibly high, surpassing even 1929. Those trumpeting the bogus class envy mantra might take a lesson from history. Countries do not do well when wealth is hoarded at the top and the bottom and middle classes go hungry or lack purchasing power.

“Income inequality” is the actual driving force behind the “Arab Spring” as well, not just despotic “government”, but the economic stranglehold on the people, by the “rich”.
