Neanderthals are all make beleve. Unless you want to use the term bmouse used. The Clan of the Cave Bear novels explained about neanderthals. Many of them were brutes or scoundrels.

Let’s not slander Neanderthals. They buried their dead with flowers around them. They may have succumbed because they were not as brutal as their “replacements”. … The “Which part?” question reminds me of a half horse/half man creature called a “centaur”…but this one was horse from the waist up and human from the waist down… makes for a funny image.

Since taurus is a bull, shouldn’t that actually mean half man, half bull? I think it’s been mistranslated for centuries, or longer.The evidence was of remnants of the Neanderthal immune system in Europeans. This could indicate who Adolph’s “ancestral pure white race” actually was.
