That’s exactly what I was going to say… as long as it’s fresh and not cracked, you’re good. ;-) It’s propaganda that you have to pasteurize an egg before it’s safe, not how the chickens are caged.
FWIW, I eat raw cookie dough fairly often and I haven’t gotten salmonella yet.
