Ahmadinejad is scheduled to speak on sovereignty and border enforcement at the “Meeting without Precondition the Leaders of Wayward States” seminar to be held at Columbia University. This seminar is the outgrowth of a campaign pledge made by United States President Barack H. Obama. Mr. Obama, the nominal chairman of the event, has not confirmed his attendance because Columbia University has no landing facilities adequate for Air Force One. Columbia University, a prestigious member of the Ivy League, is reputed to own a relic of Mr. Obama’s undergraduate transcript.
I don’t like the little twit, but for some time, I’ve been asking: "WHAT THE “F” were “hikers” doing in IRAQ, crossing into Iran?" It appears “likely” they were among the “evangelicals” over there to proselytize, not photograph the scenery.
Let’s see, for my next “vacation” I’m going into one of the hottest war zones in the world, and cross a border along one of the most hotly contested and dangerous borders, IN THE WORLD, to “snap a few pics”. Riiiiiiggggghhhht!

I lived in Iran from 72 to 79 and the average working person just wanted to earn a living. Every one I lived or worked with said that they wanted a strong leader to tell them what to do. The poplation was 1/3 armean, 1/3 jewish and the other 1/3 was eather sunie or sheia (sp),so everyday life was confusing but seemed to work.
Persia has a long history of authoritarian rule, as do many countries. Teapublicans want to head that way here, and prove it by their dedication to blindly following “leaders” and NOT ASKING rational questions about what they’re told. Iran is a “modern” theocracy, also what many, if not most, Teapublicans are also willing to accept, despite that nasty Article 6 or First Amendment to the Constitution. Interesting they also bray the party line on those two segments, rather than actually READING THEM!!
